James Taylor was deeply upset by the horrific experience his five pound dog JUJU went through over the weekend. Taylor says that a hairdresser taped Jujur's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Jujur became bloody and upset.

Taylor recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Jujur's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Jujur biting.


Puppy Lux mobile pet salon employed the groomer in question.

James took Juju straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He joined a number of others in accusing Puppy Lux for animal abuse. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

James described the injuries he observed, stating, "I noticed wounds near the joints, around the neck, and in the genital area. The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Jack Smithr is a Puppy Lux customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

In addition to the damning Yelp reviews, Puppy Lux wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

Fox called Puppylux, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said animal abuse charges they were investigating these allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
